I went for a ride on New Years Day as it was just such a fine day. These flowers that they had at one of the Round-abouts are just amazing.

Did I mention that Sheep are really big around here? Well there are just thousands, hundred thousands…????

They have public toilets everywhere down here. Some of the ones in the larger towns are these high tech ones.

Down town in several towns I have visited are Fruit sellers. They have milk and bread but specialize in fruit.

what it costs to fly from here to there.

I finally got out on the highway headed somewhere when I passed a sign that said Aero Museum and happened to look over and see THIS. It didn’t look like it would fly so I had to go back and go in.

Well they did have airplanes too.

They just built an engine that must have been similar to the original one.

It just has to sound GREAT.

I like the drip pans under these birds. Just like a bunch of old motorcycle.

John Lovett is the guy I bought my Yellow Dog from and he builds plane and helicopter models. Here is one for you John.

Lots of beautiful old birds here.

This plane is flown but the pilot that sits out behind the wing I the open air and there is room for four passengers in the cabin.

This is a huge glider and is a lot bigger than the ones they fly now I think.

It is interesting how they build these with the engine upside down.

I used to have one of these long wheel base Land Rover pickups. I was told that only two of them were ever imported into the USA. Oh, mine was left hand steering.

They get these birds out and fly them. I will be leaving on Feb 22nd so no chance for me to see them. But my flying buddies can wing it on down.

The ride
today was one of the nicest I think I have ever had. The weather was perfect and
the road top notch. They were not real twisty but just nice fast sweeping turns,
great views, good pavement, NO litter and all the farms and ranches are just
clean and neat. The only complaint from me might be that it was a little TOO
GREEN.
