I took a few photos of these buildings on the way down to my friend Don’s gallery.

The limestone quarry is near here and I hope I get a chance to see it. I have been told that they have people come from all over the world for a rock carving competition held every year. I guess you can cut this stone with handsaws and other wood working tools.

Artist at work. Don is artist in resident at this big foundry and he is just now getting set up to do his own bronze casting. Here he is working on wax that will be cast in bronze.

Just cast and not finished with patina.

This ‘dog’ will be part of a huge sculpture project that sounds like will be bigger than the Steampunk Train.
