To Michigan
When I got home from OZ I had to get my puppies out for some exercise. They all needed to go for a run to town or out to the Tongue River to get their motors running again. The weeds sure grew in the yard while I was gone.

I loaded up the Texas Catahoula pup and headed out across North Dakota to go over and see Sheila in Michigan. The oil seed sunflowers were drying off.

I think this is one of the big oil or gas pipeline projects. Damn serious pipe eh?

They had a lot of rain on the northern prairies this spring and I see the water level had not gone down in this area.

corn was sure being harvested.

Out of North Dakota now and into the tree country of Michigan.

Sheila and I went to the Kalamazoo museum for a look around. They used to do a lot of factory work around here.

The home of Gibson guitars, until the moved the factory because of union labor I think.

/BIG Kellogg cereal producing area.

They built the Checker Cabs here.

Theyt had a TV station area set up and Sheila did a news report.

Lots of swamps and lakes around where she lives.

Ah, a nice day for a motorcycle ride. Sheila's 1968 BMW R60/2.

there are very few areas that you can see any distance and this is one of them.

getting back into serious tree area.

A few nice dirt roads to even out the ride.
