Rubbing tits

First off, I want to say that rubbing tits has nothing to do with the long legged, blond, beautiful, and young German girl that was in the hot tub yesterday with me.

I took off for a ride up to Golden Bay and it was a rather damp day. A little rain and up over the pass there was clouds like fog. It is an amazing pass I rode over and I didn’t get much of a chance to take photos as it was too wet. Here is a photo when it was cleared off some and it shows some of the tree forestry that is going on here.

The sign is tied on with climbing rope which I thought was a nice touch. For my climbing (son) Erick

This shows how they just clear cut and totally destroy the mountain when they harvest the trees. They go straight up and down the hills.

This is a little farm bike they sell down here. it has all the racks and crash bars as well as handle guards and mud flaps. Wow, what a cool little 250cc bike. Oh, and double kickstands, one for each side.

interesting latch to hook the clutch so it is disengaged.

I stayed at a hostel in Nelson and this is what it got to looking like after a few days with three other guys. Two Germans, one Italian who made pizza for everyone one night and me the old dog across the room which was not neater than they were. Good bunch of guys.

bumper sticker on a little truck

firewood all pealed and a sack of coal at the gas station.

I stopped at a café and met this couple while I was waiting for my appointment to get new tires on my bike. The old tires were getting a little thin and I thought I had just better get new ones now rather than wait for trouble. I met this couple and they guy is a motorcycle BMW 1150GS rider. He wanted to talk and we had a good visit. Whren/if I make it back to Nelson I will call him up and I am sure we can go for a ride.

They were having a bowl of latte or something so I got one too. Just a big cup of milked coffee I think, but it was ok for a visit.

This is major grape or I should say WINE growing area

Corn just coming up in this field. Some corn I saw was about six inches high.

They export a lot of logs to India and China

Outward bound event

ya gotta pay to dump or ‘tip your rubbish’ as they say down here.

How about this load of logs?

check out the size of the growth rings of this guy…

I liked this graphic

Ah, I stopped at this little straight stretch of road and took a photo to show you that it is really a jungle down here. And straight stretch is almost no exaggeration. The roads are nothing but corners that wind up and around these hills. Amazing how intense they are. In fact I get so I almost had to stop and throw up they were so good. I have not gotten car sick since I was a little kid but WOW, these roads are great.

A small batch of old ones that I stopped to take a look at.

it is real interesting bark and it is soft like Redwood bark.

wild flowers

they do replant right a way.

The near ferry is for trucks and the back one is cars and passengers.

Finally we get to the rubbing of the tits..

Tires come with little tits of rubber from the mold. When you go around corners they get worn off. You have to go around corners really fast and sharp to rub off the tits near the edge of the tire. First tire here is the front and it still shows lots of tits. The second one is the back tire and I guess powering out of some of those corners rubbed them well. This little KiwiDog loves to rub tits…

I’ll get those edge ones rubbed soon I think.
