Safford-floor

Mark and I rode over to Safford to soak in the Tranquility hot spring. I had a little trouble with the Bitch Dyke that runs the place but got along with this gal at the restaurant. She made me this special Strawberry Melody. Mark had a piece of cheese cake but she went all out for me on the Strawberry, ice-cream and biscuit.

The whole country down here in Arizona went through a serious freeze. Here you can see the palms really took a hit but I could see little new sprouts coming up.

They were pre irrigating the cotton fields.

Bob Barnaby had to pour a floor in his new digs. Several of the folks hanging around were called and were happy to help out. Sand/gravel were loaded in a little pickup from the wash and a nice one sack mixer did the main hard work. Bob, Mark the water master and Mark who ended up driving the wheel borrow as well as shovel work.

The floor is 15x15feet.

Tombstone rose that loves to climb is now just starting to be in bloom.

Mark and Deena take great care of the garden.

After a nice sweat in the sauna it is often good to jump in the pool. It is rather chilly this early in the year.

Kevin and Shane also came to help.

The orange, lemon and grapefruit trees really took a hard hit with the freeze.
