The town of Peschici
I really like this litte 4x4 truck.

There was a sign on the road that said Veterans Memorial Cemetery. I didn’t know that the Canadians were so active in the Second World War but the story is that they left a lot of dead here in several places. It was the best kept cemeteries I think I have ever been in..

Ahhh, the bread is GREAT….. I will live if I can find this stuff along the road. The cheese was good too.

not sure if you can see them in this photo but there were windchargers. As usual only some of them were working.

There are lots of house and farm ruins in Italy. I never saw any of them in Switzerland.

nice little church along the road. The farmer next door was selling olive oil and jars of olives on a road side stand.

Out on the point of rocks is a fishing with nets setup. It seems to be the approved method of fishing. With all the water around here I would think there would be a lot of fishing boats, but almost none that I have seen.

Rebuilding a house carved out of rock wall.

I camped at a fancy place but it only cost 10 euros as there was almost no one here.

In the morning ths gal with the small black swim suit walked by my place and up the stairs to this exercise group. Her butt didn’t even jiggle when she walked by. The instructor was rather good looking too…..

I like the houses cut into the rocks.

The entrance to the old part of town.

The streets are narrow and the sign says something like only very small cars.

there were lots of shops and this one had some of the old olive oil presses, or maye wine too??

The pizza dealer…. yipee

other stuff lookd good too..

lots of little narrow side streets

I went into a little church that is much like all catholic churches and found the guy with the dog with the biscuit in his mouth. This is the same scene I saw down in central America. What is the deal with the biscuit dog?

stainglass windows. A raven for Bob….

very nifty old town.

I see these little three wheel rigs everywhere down here. This one is a really old one and just the thing for these little streets.

the tools in the back. Saw, hatchet.

interesting pave stones.

when a car comes down the street you have to get out of the way. This is a wide street, as most of the time you have to get into a door way to let then go by.

The garbage truck and he just barely makes it down the streets.

American Indian fake stuff in here.

Some sort of bike rally being held here this weekend. There were supposed to be maybe 400 bikes but I don’t think I saw more than fifty in town at one time.

Honda GS bike. Looks heavy.

ahh, one piece of pizza for 1.40 euros. Later I went an got a half pizza of this same kind for 3.20, a good meal for sure.

I just got suited up and was headed out of town when one of these guys went out in the street and flagged me down and invited me to their table for a cup of punch. They were really nice BMW guys and we did a lot of laughing and arm waving. s

Back at camp I went to the toilet. Humm, see any paper dispenser? Nope, but you see that little spray rig on the wall. It will take some practice not to get everything wet when you turn that on too far.

hmm a warme dusche? This is the women’s side

The men too?

Turns out it is a pay for use shower. I am a little leery of those electric showers after getting mild shock down in South America. These are probably safer but ???
