I had a really bad accident coming back from having my motorcycle tuned and checked over at Bob's Motorwerks near Redlodge, MT at the end of last month. I think it was Friday the 26th of August. I am slowly regaining my normal body functions. I was wearing my good, very expensive, riding gear and the only physical damage that can be seen is a small patch on my right wrist that was ground down between my leather glove and my coat. The whole thing is some what unclear to me as I don't remember any of it or why it happened. I was going through Billings and somehow ended up in the Emergency room of the local hospital. Last Sunday they had a special write up on the increase in motorcycle accidents in Montana and they had a photo of my bike crashed. 

The bike has been taken back to Bob's place and will be put back on its wheels and ready to go when Bob gets back from a motorcycle trip that he and Ann are taking. I hope to be on the road to South America somewhere around the first of October. I really haven't felt much like writing and my camera took a direct hit in that accident. I waited my time and finally bought a used one just like my old one on ebay. It sure takes a little time and luck but I can now take photos and hopefully post a road log now and then. I am not too sure how successful I will be on posting to my website but I hope to at least be able to post to the blog site I am in the process of trying to figure out how to use. I think it is possible to even post a response to anything on that site too. I haven't done much on it yet but it seems to be a really simple way to keep everyone posted on my travels. It does take a lot longer to post photos to it so it may be more words than  photos. I will just have to see what works best on the trip. You might want to book mark that site and check it if you haven't heard from me in a while. The little computer I will be taking on the trip may or may not work like my big one did last year in Mexico.
