10-31-05 San Marcos

Here are the photos I took this morning in the streets and market of San Marcos. I think I am the only gringo in town and they way people look at me I think I may almost be the first. I am about a foot to two feet taller than everyone else. Everyone seems to be very nice.

the beer gets guarded well with two shotguns. They take their beer seriously here. There are also armed men at gas stations and banks sometimes.

this dog has loose stool unlike the bmwdog. I really liked her place to poop. Right in the highway.

fireworks!!! They looked great and they had some big firecrackers too. I wish I could buy some and bring them home.
