We took a ride over to a little town called Masaya (?) where they were having some sort of local dance show. Most of the dancers were young kids and the oldest I saw were maybe 15 years old at the most. There was about a four block area where there were stages set up about a block apart and different performers did their stuff. The kids were really cute and some of the little girls that had makeup on were very beautiful.

At each stage there was a marimba band set up and playing. I really liked the marimba bands. The marimbas were very crude ususlly but they sounded really good. There was one marimba band at the main stage area that was the best for sure. The guy playing it could use on, two or three mallets at a time and he was really good. This photo is one of the more normal bands. The little ukuleles were sometimes homemade.

I really liked this little group of dancers. They were very colorful and some of them were dressed in animal costumes

I saw this little buggy on the way out of there and am constantly amazed at how resourceful these people are. This buggy must be way more than a hundred years old and still going strong, especially with its new front wheel made out of rebar.
